Urban water management on the agenda at the User Group Meeting in Switzerland

On 11-12 September, we welcomed 20 participants from authorities, industry and research organisations to our User Group Meeting in Lucerne in Switzerland.

On the first day, we gave an overview on the novelties in our MIKE by DHI software. This was followed by presentations of various projects related to the areas of water supply and discharge, as well as on the subject matter of three-way coupling. The latter demonstrated the large variety of options for integrated modelling of drainage systems, surface and groundwater bodies.

Best modelling practice and focus on individual modelling challenges

The second day was marked by ecological modelling and river modelling. In a hands-on training session, users and our DHI experts discussed depicting of special-purpose structures in MIKE URBAN. Best modelling practice was discussed and our users were shown solutions to their individual challenges directly on the computer.

We hope we were able to provide you with new inspiration and incentives to implement one or more of your ideas in your projects. The participants greatly enhanced the event by the contribution of relevant questions and interesting discussions and we want to thank everyone for their input and look forward to welcoming you to the User Group Meeting next year in Switzerland. We look forward to your participation – only with your support can we continue addressing your needs in detail.
