Inspiring UGM in France
On September 18, the French User Group Meeting was held at our office in Nantes.
This provided an opportunity for users to discover our new services and new MIKE by DHI software features. This year, the meeting focused on water resources and urban applications. Users had the opportunity to discuss the latest functionalities available in release 2012 and were also introduced to new features, which will be available with the next release.
With the aim of promoting exchanges between users, project presentation session took place at the end of the day. ARTELIA consultant, Strasbourg urban district and DHI presented projects recently carried out with MIKE by DHI software. This session allowed time for discussing possible difficulties users can meet in their project work and how these challenges can be solved with the available tools.
Insight into advanced modelling of collection systems
Prior to the User Group Meeting, we had organised a two-day course on advanced modelling of collection systems with MIKE URBAN. This course was a great success and many experienced MIKE URBAN users, from both private companies and public organisations signed up for this session. This course offered the possibility for participants to explore advanced features and to get expert advice from the two trainers as well as from other attendees, who found working and comparing working methods with people from different backgrounds very inspiring.
